What We Build
Fortress Steel Framing
Fortress Steel Framing Systems replace traditional wood substructures with a steel frame that won't rot, warp, split, or attract insects. Carrying a Class A structural and fire resistance rating, Fortress Steel is engineered to last 50 years — compared to a wood substructure rated for roughly 10. The substructure is what determines how long everything above it actually lasts.
Helical Piers
On sites with soft or unstable soils, a standard deck footing isn't always sufficient — over time the deck can sink, shift, or separate from the structure. Helical piers are steel screw piles twisted deep into stable soil below the soft layer, creating a foundation that won't move regardless of surface conditions. We assess soil stability during our initial site visit and recommend helical piers where the ground calls for it.
Deckorators Voyage & Summit
Built from limestone rather than wood fiber — no heat absorption, no seasonal expansion or contraction, no maintenance cycle of painting, staining, or sealing. The surface holds its appearance year after year in Colorado conditions.
Deck Railing
We install aluminum, metal, wood, and horizontal cable railing systems that meet ADA requirements and local municipal codes. Every system is chosen for weather resistance and the visual direction of the project.

Your Outdoor Living Project Starts With a Plan
The right outdoor living space doesn't happen by accident — it happens because the right decisions were made before the first board was cut. Our process is built around one principle: nothing gets built until everything is decided.
Step 1: Consultation & Design
We start on your property, looking at the actual space. Alex assesses site conditions, sun orientation, snow load exposure, soil stability, and WUI compliance requirements before any design decisions are made. From there we produce a full design with material specifications and a real estimate — so you know what you're getting into before we break ground.
Step 2: Project Begins
Work begins on a defined schedule with phase milestones — demo if needed, framing, decking, railing, structures, and finish details — each with a target date. Alex is on-site and reachable throughout, and any change that affects timeline or cost gets communicated before it affects the project.
Step 3: Project Completion
Alex walks the finished space against the original design scope — every surface, every railing connection, every detail. Anything that doesn't meet standard is corrected before your walkthrough. Permits closed, inspections handled. We're done when there's nothing left on the list.
A note on the design phase: You're not locked into completing construction with us. If you take the design we've produced and work with another contractor for the build, that's completely your call. If you choose to move forward with us, the design fee is credited toward the project cost.
