Interior Remodeling

Home Remodeling Contractors in Boulder, CO Who Treat Your Home Like It's Their Own

Interior Remodeling Built Around How You Actually Live

Cosman Construction is a boutique design-build firm serving homeowners and property owners across Boulder County who need home remodeling contractors they can trust with the spaces they use every day.

We handle the full interior scope — kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, structural wall removal, whole home renovations, mechanical coordination, and finish upgrades — all under one contract with Alex Cosman present throughout.

Every project starts with a detailed design, a written scope, and a real estimate before any work begins. If your project extends beyond the interior, our exterior remodeling and home addition services can run in parallel so everything moves as one coordinated effort.

Homeowners across Boulder, Longmont, Lafayette, Louisville, and the surrounding Front Range have trusted us with their most personal spaces — and they come back because a team genuinely invested in the outcome is hard to find at this level. Schedule a conversation with Alex to get started.

What We Build

Why Hire a Design Build Company for Your Interior Remodel

Most interior remodeling projects above a certain scope require more than a contractor — they require design drawings for permitting, structural engineering for wall removal and beam specifications, and often an interior designer to ensure the finished space reflects your vision as well as it performs structurally. Coordinating those relationships separately is the homeowner's responsibility on a traditionally contracted project.

With Cosman Construction, that coordination is handled for you. We work directly with interior designers, architects, and structural engineers as needed — assembling the right team for your project and managing every professional relationship under one contract so the design intent survives all the way through to the finished space.

Your Outdoor Living Project Starts With a Plan

The remodels that go sideways share a common thread — the planning conversation was too short and the build conversation started too soon. We ask every hard question before the first wall opens so the answers don't become surprises mid-project.

Step 1: Consultation & Design

Every interior remodel starts with a conversation with Alex in your home — looking at the actual space and understanding how you use it before any design decisions are made. From there we produce design drawings, a written scope, and a real estimate so you know what the project costs before you commit to anything.

Step 2: Project Begins

Once design is approved and permits are in hand, work begins on a defined schedule — demo, rough-ins, structural work, finishes — each with a target date. Alex is reachable throughout, and any change that affects scope, timeline, or cost gets communicated before it affects the project.

Step 3: Project Completion

Alex walks the finished space against the original scope — every room, every finish, every detail. Anything that doesn't meet standard gets corrected before your walkthrough. Permits closed, inspections handled. We're done when there's nothing left on the list.

A note on the design phase: You're not locked into completing construction with us. If you take the design we've produced and work with another contractor for the build, that's completely your call. If you choose to move forward with us, the design fee is credited toward the project cost.

The Cosman Construction Difference

Most remodeling contractors manage the work. We manage the outcome — and there's a real difference between the two.

Every project is designed with the finished result in mind from day one. Material selections, trade sequencing, and budget decisions all work toward the same goal rather than being figured out as the project unfolds.

Alex is present from the first conversation through the final walkthrough. The person who understood what you wanted at the start is the same person making sure it gets built that way.

If you're planning an interior remodel in Boulder County and want it handled correctly the first time, we'd like to hear about your home. We look forward to speaking with 303.775.6690
